Anne Hathaway, Clint Eastwood Get Nods from Film Board
The National Board of Review named Anne Hathaway the best actress of 2008 for her role in Rachel Getting Married and Clint Eastwood’s Slumdog Millionaire the best picture of the year.
The Board of Review is a group of film historians and experts and was founded in 1909. The 125-member group kicked off award season today with their awards.
Other notables included The Curious Case of Benjamin Button starring Brad Pitt, John Brolin in Milk, and Penelope Cruz in Victoria Cristina Barcelona.
