The CW Network announced Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will be moving into Melrose Place playing a southern belle a la Amy Locane’s character on the original Melrose Place.
Simpson mader her first big TV splash seven years ago on the WB’s 7th Heaven, and will gues star on a March 18th episode of CSI: NY with husband Pete Wentz.
The show will likely debut after 90210 redux on the CW’s fall line-up.
