Griffin and Johnston… HUH?!

Granted, Kathy Griffin likes to be outrageous. That’s her way of covering up the fact that she’s really not all that talented. Her latest absurdity was taking Levi Johnston to the 2009 Teen Choice Awards as her date. At 49, Griffin is far removed from the teen category. Johnston just squeaks by at 19.
Worse than the awards fiasco was the train wreck interview Griffin did with Johnston when she guest-hosted Larry King Live. The interview fell so flat it needed an enormous spatula to scrap it up and toss it in a dumpster. Johnston appeared very uncomfortable through the entire “interview” while Griffin made continual references to their “relationship” seemingly in an attempt to get some witty play-along with Johnston. Didn’t happen. Johnston was either too embarrassed or just too dull and the entire thing was painful to watch.
Griffin has made a career of being a “D-List” performer. It would seem that Johnston’s career aspirations might land him in the same category. He has said he would like to pursue an acting and modeling career. Best he sticks to modeling.

Who thinks Joan Rivers should should get f***in’ smart and retire while she has a shred of dignity left. Her raving attack on Celebrity Apprentice, when her daughter, Melissa Rivers, was dumped from the show, should have been her final act. Curtain down!! No matter whether you believe Michael Jackson is a pedophile, or not, her venomous comment about being able to let her grandson walk alone now that Jackson is dead was past the point of good taste even for someone as loud mouthed and crude as Rivers is.
Her obnoxious mouth is still spewing forth though. On a live morning news show a reporter made a really uncalled comment about River’s daughter, Melissa, to which she rightfully took exception. Of course, she handled it in her own cheap way by saying the interview was over and, before the station could “bleep” her, told the reporter, “Don’t get so f***in’ smart.
If she’s so worried about her grandson then maybe it would be good to set a better example for him by cleaning up her mouth.

Jonah Hill Has Twitter Trouble

Comic actor Johan Hill (Superbad, Evan Almighty, Funny People) is a victim of Twitter identity theft. In a recent appearance on The David Letterman Show Hill said he has never been on Twitter nor would he ever be.
Some unadulterated pond scum from Texas named John has been impersonating Hill and sending offensive messages about various celebs. People have mistakenly believed it was the real Jonah Hill which would definitely have the possibility of turning public opinion against him.
On a recent appearance on The David Letterman Show he said the impersonator has ”like 100,000″ followers and people keep coming up to Hill and telling him they follow him on Twitter. Hill stated that one day someone said to him, “Man, things are getting pretty heated in that feud between you and (director) Jon Favreau”. Seems the fake Hill has been trash talking about Favreau, a director the real Hill says he would like to work with someday.
Letterman asked Hill (the real one) if he knew a lot about computers. His answer: “No. I don’t. I use like a quill with ink to write everything”.
Hope Hill (the real one) finds Hill (the fake one) and causes him to impersonate a sponge. This might be a heads-up to celebrities to watch for Twitter twits who think it’s funny to screw with someone’s reputation.

Did Joan Rivers Cross A Line?

76 year old Joan Rivers has always been known for her caustic wit and a voice that is as irritating as nails on a chalkboard. Her comedic style was to make fun of herself and other celebrities. However, it seems in the last several years she has become progressively nastier in her comments and manner and tends to grate on nerves. Well, mine anyway.
Recently, while walking through what appears to be an airport a reporter asked her if there was anything in the current news she would like to talk about. Rivers stammered and seemed to want to make an comment and the reporter then told her “the door’s open” She came to a stop and said, “I hear Michael Jackson died. Is that true?” The reporter said it was and Rivers then commented “Well then I can let my grandsons take a walk alone again”.
Line crossed, or not. You decide.

Celebrities Celebrate Obama Vicotry
Coast to coast, celebrities gathered in hot spots and mansions to celebrate Barak Obama’s victory last night.

Brad Pitt, Oprah Winfrey and Spike Lee, to name a few of the reported 200,000 Obama fans that showed up at Grant Park in Chicago, cheered on the Illinois senator and now President-Elect.

In Los Angeles, one of the biggest celebrations took place at the Century Plaza Hotel, co-hosted by Obama’s California campaign staff and the California Democrats.
In attendance were Sarah Silverman, Pierce Brosnan, Amy Smart, Peter Fonda, Zooey Deschanel, Alan Ladd Jr., and Richard and Lauren Shuler Donner.

David Arquette and Courtney Cox Arquette hosted an Obama Victory party at their Beverly Hills mansion. Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were in attendence along with Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher. One party-goer said David was in such a good mood he opened his property gates and poured champagne for the paparazzi outside.

In New York, the stars came out to Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert’s Indecion 2008 party hosted by Comedy Central. Those set to attend were Ben Affleck, Paul Rudd, Moby, Ethan Hawke, James Franco, Gina Gershon, Patricia Clarkson and more.
