I was trying to avoid blogging about all of the drama surround Jessica Simpson and her weight. I mean, really, is there just not enough celeb gossip around that everyone has to flock to this one picture:

So she’s a bit curvier.  Is that cause for weeks of commentary? With head lines like:  “Inside Jess’ Weight Battle: ‘Jumbo Jessica insult’ ” (Us Weekly); “WOW! Jessica Simpson Debuts Her New Curvy Body” (People); “Jessica Strikes Back at Critics: I’m Not Fat” (OK!). Websites also were critical of her high-waisted jeans.

I think we should start snapping pictures of some of these bloggers and reporters and see how they stack up! Sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her hubby Pete Wentz, and Kim Kardashian have come to her defense, telling people to lay off. I agree.

The Fall Out Boy bassist won’t reveal the reason for his first name, Bronx, but said he and Simpson bonded over Disney’s The Jungle Book and took the name from the boy in the story.

The boy’s official name is Bronx Mowgli Wentz – BMW. We already know what he wants for his 16th birthday.
