Guess Chris Brown found some sort of sick “pleasure” in beating the crap out of girlfriend Rhianna, but Wrigley has made it official that he won’t be singing the praises of Doublemint Gum anymore. Seems the“double your pleasure, double your fun” jingle just wouldn’t sound right coming from the accused abuser.
Concerned about the allegations made against Brown, the Wrigley Company decided to temporarily pull his ads back in February, until the matter was resolved. Brown’s guilty plea to felony assault seemed to resolve the matter quite succinctly.
The company never said they would reinstate the commercials or continue to use Brown as a spokesman for the company and I would bet my Skittles they never would have.
