If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is this shirtless, almost naked picture of Cristiano Ronaldo worth? And speaking of Cristiano Ronaldo and his worth, Real Madrid paid approximately $130 million just to get him on their team and gave him a six year contract at $12.3 million for the first season with a 25% raise for each of the next 5 seasons.
However, it seems Ronaldo had a less than stellar performance in a pre-season match, which may not be a very good omen of things to come. Not to worry, though, because Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini says Ronaldo just “needs a little time to adjust” to his new surroundings. And Ronaldo, evidently not a humble man, says he is worth every penny. $130 million plus $12.3 million plus a 25% yearly increase adds up to a lot of pennies.
Is Renaldo worth all those pennies? Well, maybe so. Hard to imagine anyone is worth that kind of money.
