This is terrifying in so many ways it’s hard to know where to start. Or stop. The entire ensemble is so outrageous it has to be intentionally wacko. And it is.
Jodie Harsh, “alter ego” of 24 year old Jay Clarke, is a London drag queen and popular DJ and club promoter on London’s East End. She appears in this picture at the 2009 Elle Magazine Style Awards. Harsh describes her look as “somewhere between a Barbie doll and a clown”. Well, that seems fairly accurate. When not working as Harsh, Clarke says he is a little scruffy, wearing jeans and hoodies. “Drag is like my work suit; when I am not working I don’t wear drag”, says Clark.
So let’s hear it for Jodie and her little dog Spot! Way to go guys…er, girls…um, people!
