Hockey Player Sean Avery Slams Elisha Cuthbert, Gets Suspended
Dallas Star player Sean Avery dissed ex-girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert Wednesday by saying:
“Tt’s a common thing for NHL guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds.” He didn’t mention her by name but his ex, 24 actress Elisha Cuthbert now dates Calgary defenseman Dion Phaneuf and was previously linked to a player for the Montreal Canadiens. (Avery also dated “Stacey’s Mom” star Rachel Hunter, who now dates Los Angeles Kings star Jarret Stoll.)
Cuthbert got the last laugh though, as Avery was suspended indefinitely for his comments. He did issue an apology statement but it’s too little too late.
