Joaquin Phoenix’s Bizarre Letterman Flop – all a fake?
Ok, I was on a cruise ship when the now infamous Joaquin Phoenix Letterman show episode aired. I heard it second hand, thought I had a handle on it. Weird, but okay, celebrities tend to be weird. What’s the big deal? So now I’m finally getting around to watching the debacle. OMG. If you haven’t seen it, take a few minutes out of your day for a “huh?” moment.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this is all some elaborate stunt. He quits acting and before he even performs his first show, it is announced that brother-in-law Casey Affleck is making a documentary about the transition from actor to rapper? c’mon. His first show is a joke, with a punchline that ends in him falling off the stage. Now there’s this. It is just too weird to not be scripted in some way. Hopefully we’ll find out what this is all about before everyone forgets who Joaquin Phoenix is!
