King of Weird Michael Jackson emerged this week from obscurity, first to file suit against an auction company who is preparing to hawk stuff from his former home, Neverland Ranch, then to announce a series of concerts in London.
The suit was filed against Julien’s Auction house, and claims “The conduct of the defendants was malicious, fraudulent, extreme, outrageous and without any legal justification whatsoever.”
Auctioneer Darren Julien seems confused by the law suit: “We have been accommodating any requests made by Michael Jackson for the past eight months,” Julien said. “If it is true and he is stating that there are items he does not want sold, why would he have ever given us the items in the first place? We are an auction house, and that is all that we do. We are not a mover or storage facility.”
Jackson, who has been living in Bahrain mostly since his acquittal of child molestation charges in 2005, also says he’s be performing his “final curtain call” with 10 shows in London this July.
