It has been widely reported that Nicolette Sheridan’s character Edie will be killed off on Desperate Houswives this season. Dana Delany said that Monday was her last day on the set. She also hinted before they all the desperate housewives were afraid for their jobs, saying no one was safe from Marc Cherry’s poison pen..
Now E! is quoting Cherry as saying:
“I don’t know if that’s Nicollette’s last day. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s just a nasty rumor and Nicollette has more Desperate Housewives episodes in her future.”
The reason the word is out about Nicollette is because there’s an episode coming out where the lives of two Desperate Housewives are in danger…The truth of the matter is, nobody’s safe on Wisteria Lane. They know that any one of them can go at any second.”
Maybe its just me, but I think this stinks of fake drama, and desperate-for-ratings tactics. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
