Obama’s Inauguration Brings Out the Stars
Barack Obama will soon become the nation’s 44th president and stars from around the globe are flooding into Washington D.C. to celebrate the historic inauguration.
Bono and U2, Beyonce, Aretha Franklin, Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Black Eyed Peas, Sheryl Crow, Usher, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen and Steve Wonder were among the performers.
Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah, and other stars gathered two days before Obama takes the oath of office, to welcome him to Washington. Authorities expect 2 million people in D.C. for the events ver the next 2 days.
