Tom Cruise Apologizes to Matt Lauer
Three years after calling the Today show host Matt Lauer ‘Glib,’ Tom Cruise has aplogized, just in time to promote his new flick Valkyrie.
On his last Today show appearance, Tom got into a discussion with Matt Lauer about Cruise’s open criticism of Brooke Shields taking anti-depressants after her pregnancy.
Crusie said after he looked at the tape, he thought he sounded arrogant and felt he could have handled the situation better.
Though he still plans to speak out about Scientology, he said he now realizes there’s an appropriate time and place for it, and it’s not when you’re out promoting a film.
Cruise was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for his short role in Tropic Thunder.
I wonder if studios demanded that he shut his trap about Scientology. His rants a few years back completely turned me off of the actor.
